The Section 11 Swimming Qualifiers for girls was held today at SCCC Brentwood campus pool. Ward Melville's Ladty Patriots won the overall "Team" aspect with 452 points, with Connetquot second with 336 points. The 400 yd Free relay was won by Melville swimmers and they finished second in the Medley Relay and 200 yd Relay races.
Individual performances were outstanding. Corinne Vairo, in the first photograph, was second in the 200 Free event. Jessica Fabrizio was fourth in the 100 yd Breast race and is shown in the second photo.
At the end of the long meet, a group photo was taken of the swimmers who qualified for the states. A detailed listing of the meet results can be found on www.iaswim.org .
